About John Kerr
John Kerr is an attorney licensed to practice in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and admitted before the United States District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania. He operates a solo law practice in Mechanicsburg , Pennsylvania trading as John Kerr Law, P.C.. His practice areas include virtually all aspects of family law, including custody disputes, grandparents rights, divorce, support, protection from abuse, termination of rights and relocation hearings. He also practices labor and employment law, with an emphasis on unemployment and employment discrimination. Other practice areas include wills, powers of attorney, probate of estate, criminal defense and general civil litigation. He attended the University of Pittsburgh as a William Pitt Debate Scholar; Dickinson School of Law and obtained a Masters Degree and post-masters certification in History from Villanova University.
In addition to practicing law, he was a member of the Adjunct Faculty in the Department of History and Political Science at York College of Pennsylvania, where he taught the History of American Civilization from 2005 – 2016. Prior to opening his solo practice, he was the Vice President of Risk Management and Human Resources for PrimeCare Medical, lnc., a mid-Atlantic Company specializing in correctional healthcare.
